After talking a little bit he told that his son was a Marine in Iraq and that his son has convinced him to vote for Kerry.

I'm having a really hard time believing this. This sounds like one of those "I've voted Republican all my life, but this time... " statements.

Heh. Out our way there were two 4x8 signs put up along Redmond-Fall City road, one Reichert and one Bush. The Bush sign was downed that night (but left). When it went back up you could see it had been spray-painted with some nastiness. Makes the Left look really good...

Yeah, he did tell me that he had voted Republican in the past, but he wasn't going to do so this time. He said that his son was very upset and ashamed at what the American's were doing over there. He also told me that there would be a lot of military voting against Bush. I was being nice until he said something about France not going to Iraq because of historical lessons learned. That is when I started talking about the UN and oil for food scandal and when he started walking away.

Based on those statements, I'm more firmly convinced that he was lying.

Bellevue Wa 148th a main thorough fair/boulevard on the mid to upper class eastside. I could not even count how many John F'n Kerry signs that were completely shredded. Only his signs everything else was fine. Someone had a good time.

I had the opposite happen to me...someone (and I think I know who) put a kerry/edwards sign in my yard one night.

As I was leaving for work in the morning, I saw it, casually lit a smoke on my way to the car, veered right and lit the sign.

It burned good, real good...and I think my neighbor (the placer) saw the whole thing.

That is freakin' HILARIOUS.

And effective. And fun. Especially if you water the area around the sign at night, I'd bet.

The OBL video will help Bush. He's already jumped two points at Tradesports since the news broke.

Anything to remind folks of the war on terror will help Bush. Watch the internals on the polls. When it comes to the war on terror, Bush kicks sKerry's butt every time.

I'm with ya, but lets face it...some important states are very very close...maybe as close as a few thousand votes...do you think that some might be reminded that we haven't gotten OBL and its been 3 years???

I live close to a military base and you will have a HARD time finding any military person, Army, Marine, Air Force or Navy, to support Kerry.

They strongly support President Bush, their Commander-in-Chief. My opinion is that the salesman was telling a lie.

Just put my latest set of signs out. I got a bit devious this year and left a few surprises for would be thieves. In addition to covering it in WD-40, I taped the bottom of my Bush sign together and taped a small ziplock bag full of old paint to the inside. Virtually any disturbance of the sign will cause the contents to spill out all over the place.

I've had Democrats learn the hard way about stealing signs from me in the past, including one that I actually saw in the act right before he realized that he'd transported a sign covered with WD-40 and axle grease to the back seat of his car. But they never seem to learn. So this year it's gonna be paint.

Huh? I drive up and down 148th every day. I see Bush signs in the morning that are missing that evening. But the Kerry signs never seem to go away. Same with 140th, which I also use from time to time.

Hey there... I don't want to say that it can't happen... but yeesh, it sure seems to me like the Bush signs disappear or get trashed alot more than the Kerry signs.

Good to hear from another local Freeper. :-)

Ever find your way to Pahrumps? It's the bar at the Embassy Suites off of 148th down by 90.
