When my daughter was about six, she had the opportunity to do a commercial with him. Mrs. DFU spent the day on the set, which I think was his home. She said he was a genuinely nice man.

I was lucky enough to attend a Lecture by Linkletter last year. I was struck by what great health he is in. His voice was strong, he stood and walked the stage for an hour, speaking without notes. He was amazing!

I remember Art Linkletter from when i was a kid in the 50s! I am astonished that he is still as healthy and vital today as he is.

He must have been paying attentin to all of those Jack LaLane exercise shows!!

I remember him from when I was little, with his "Kids Say the Darndest Things" segments. He has a great way with kids -- he just got them to talk.

Wow! What an amazing and inspiring life he has led. By the looks of this ad he is still very involved, and on the right side of, the key issues.

Go to USANext.org and check out the ad.

When my husband was a little boy he was on Art Linkletter's house party. It has been so long ago that the record of the show that he given was actually a 78 black record. My husband has a first name that was really unsuitable for a small child, and Art gave him a nickname that has followed him to this day. We still have the record. My husband is 69 years old, so Art Linkletter was a young man when he began his career.

Well, now you've got us wondering.... Both as to the real and the nickname....

This one of the rare times that I am glad that my husband is blind, so that he will not know that I am revealing this secret. Hobert AKA Bert

Another great Canadian Conservative that fled the Great White North for fame and fortune in Hollywood. I worked for his brother, another great man.
