Glenn Beck just mentioned (on the air) that Alan Colmes believes President Bush will be re-elected.
Paraphrasing, he said that people will ask themselves in the voting booth, "who will keep me safe", and then will pull the lever for the President.

A vanity of sorts, but what the heck. With all the doom and gloom that will be posted today, a little of ray of sunshine can't hurt.

What's the latest word on the ground there in Ohio, Tony?

This is precisely why I think Bush will win too.
Kerry made this about National Security.
Bush beats Kerry on this by 10 points. People trust Bush on matters of national security by 10 points over Kerry. That's HUGE.

Of all the liberals, Colmes is about the only one I can stomach....which is saying a lot because I have had my fill of ALL of them!!

Alan Colmes is the liberal half of Hannity & Colmes. He's a thoughtful liberal, not like the moonbats over on DU. So if he says it, you can be sure its not just a vast right wing conspiracy perception. LOL

Good morning, Tony. I think you said you lived in Toledo (or thereabouts). Same here. I'm confident Bush will take Ohio on Tuesday. Everywhere I've been going lately, grocery stores, libraries, gyms, etc. people are speaking much more favorably of Bush. Are you finding the same thing?

John Kerry is going to lose miserably and the democrats know it. Every time Iraq or terrorism come into play Bush comes out on top. The blatant media bias has only produced small temporary gains for Kerry because people want to know the truth not what reporters think.

"Of all the liberals, Colmes is about the only one I can stomach....which is saying a lot because I have had my fill of ALL of them!!"
I remember watching Hannity & Colmes back in '99 and '00 and Colmes was so much more liberal back then. Ever since 9/11/01 he's had a bit of sense knocked into him. He'll never be on our side, but he's definitely a better man today than he was 4 or 5 years ago.

Can't watch H&C lately, Colmes has become more shrill than usual, regurgitating the liberal talking points. The Hubby was watching last night and I had to leave the room! Phil Donohue was repulsive as well.

Did you ever hear Alan's radio show. It was good and it was funny. That bit Hannity pulls off when people call in for five seconds at a time to say what they want. That was a standard on Colmes' show.
If the media adds five to fifteen points for Kerry, radio does the same for Colmes. Poor guy he has a face made for a dark cave. Television just makes you hold your daughters tighter fearing that some day a Colmes look alike might be calling for one of them.
On the radio he was a good deal less liberal and a good deal more fun.
