Shocking First Hand Accounts by Individual Iraqis Iraqi Documentary Footage Available in the United States at http://www.WMDIRAQ.com
NEW YORK, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- An unprecedented alliance between Iraqi and American filmmakers has produced a shocking new documentary film recounting the horrors of Saddam Hussein's Iraq. The film, "Weapon of Mass Destruction: The Murderous Reign of Saddam Hussein," provides detailed historical accounts of the torturous dictatorship that terrorized a nation.
"We candidly interviewed Michael Moore, the Director of 'Fahrenheit 9/11,' in this film," said Brad Maaske, co-producer of 'WMD.' "Mr. Moore believes that the documentary as an art form should be open to all filmmakers. Our film is in direct response to his comments that 'the best way to come to a decision in a free society is by open discussion. Make your movies, tell your stories, and people will respond.'"
"WMD" tells the story of individual Iraqis that suffered through mass killings, tortures, and other gruesome horrors of Saddam Hussein's rule. Between 1986 and 1988, 182,000 Kurds were systematically killed through the use of chemical and biological weapons.
"In total, 1.3 million Iraqi citizens were killed under Saddam Hussein's regime," said Jano Rosebiani, whose unique Iraqi footage was the primary source of the film's content. "This film is not about politics, but freedom. The only path to peace in Iraq must be paved by truth. We can have no peace if our people's stories are not heard."
The groundbreaking documentary begins with a historical account of Iraq as the Cradle of Civilization. Since that time, the country has been rife with political and economic struggles, despite its abundance of natural resources. At the end of World War I, the League of Nations formed the Iraq we know today, comprised of three disparate groups: the Kurds, the Sunnis and the Shiites. This has been the most prominent source of internal strife for everyday Iraqis.
"WMD" also refutes the fallacy that the United States provided a substantial amount of weaponry to Iraq during its war with Iran in the 1980s. The United States provided just 2% of Iraq's weapons during the war with Iran. The majority of weaponry came from Soviet Union (57%), France (13%), and China (12%).
Mr. Rosebiani himself lost family members during "Anfal," Saddam's carefully orchestrated campaign of genocide targeting Kurds in Northern Iraq from 1986 to 1988.
"We made this film to document the truth of what happened in Iraq, for the sake of the Iraqi people," Mr. Rosebiani continued. "Amidst tears, individual Iraqis suffered through their painful memories so future generations could enjoy the freedoms that were so brutally destroyed by Saddam Hussein."
"WMD - The Murderous Reign of Saddam Hussein" is the co-production of Brad Maaske, The Iraqi Truth Project, Jano Rosebiana, and Earl Grizzell of Grizzell Productions in association with distributor Stonegate Media Group of Hollywood, California. The film can be purchased for $19.95 at http://www.WMDIRAQ.com.

For people that tell you Saddam was not a threat to anyone, send them there.
Finally. There are more untold millions of Iraqis who died in Iraq. I read in National Geographic, that 5 to 7 million Iraqis died under Saddam, mostly Shiites. He is worse then Pol Pot for sure and in league with Stalin and Hitler.
Shout it from the rooftops!!!
