"Specter Warns Bush on High Court Nominations!!"

Dubyuh asked fer this when he supported this damned RINO ba$+ard instead of supporting the reliably-conservative Toomey in the primary!! I honestly believe Bush's inexplicable action cost him the conservative support he needed to win Pennsylvania.

Good analysis, Joanie...MUD

Sorry to disagree, but I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and I know a thing or two about Pennsylvania politics.

If Toomey had been the nominee, Joe Hoeffel would be the new Senator from Pennsylvania, and the 55-44 Republican majority would now be 54-46.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a Spector supporter, But, it is best to have Spector with a leash on him, than to have Hoeffel in the Senate. Also, President Bushs' endorsement of Spector was the reason it was so close in Pennsylvania on the Presidential level.

Had Toomey been the nominee, the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia labor goons would have stuffed the ballot boxes even more than they usually do.

Sorry to admit it, but that is the political reality of Pennsylvania..........

In summation, better to take a chance on Spector, than to have a sure defeat with Toomey. Sad, isn't it??
