Hee Hee!!!!
I havn't called my friend in Ohio yet..........I really don't want to sound like I'm gloating (too much)
Whoaaaa, now there's a metamorphosis if ever there was, union or no union.
Akin to the beautiful butterfly turning into an ugly caterpiller. {g}
"I won't have to say much. I'll just send him my copy of 'Unfit for Command.'"
Bet'cha heard the anus-Imus said the SBVs were drunken traitors who should be *shot*, eh?
The ilk on the Liberal-Socialist left just keep missing the target.
The very *epitome* of thick.
"'Course he's had two quadruple bypasses..."
BWAHAAAAA!!!
I ain't goin' there, uh-huh.
Worked too damned hard on my "compassionate conservatism."
...to blow it now. :o)
LOL!!!!!!!!
It's hard to gloat on instant messenging................but on the phone is different!!!!!
He's as disappointed in the re-election of the Gov in DE as I am. But she didn't win with any mandate. The LT. Gov won re-election with over 60%. The Gov only had 50.3%
But she is so arrogant she will not get the hint........Oh well, I'm now done with Delaware politics. It was a long ride that I really loved, but 22 years is enough. time for me to dive in with both feet in Virginia.
Take the poll:

'OHIO'
-Tin soldiers and Bush are comin
Voters finally are on their own
This election I hear the drumming
We're dead in Ohio
Gotta get down to it
Pollsters are cutting us down
Should have been won long ago
What if you stood in line
And found your vote on the ground
Provisional ballots, you know

And I predict the sun'll rise in the east, *tomorrow*.
...pretty precient of me, eh? :o)
I wason the phone with my (dem)friend in Cincinatti when Fox announced Kerry had called Bush to concede.
He said to me that Kerry should have done it last night and that he needs to stop the nonsense right away.
he won't admit it, but I really think he voted for Bush.
LOL...good job, Ghengis...MUD
Hey, mine was the minority opinion...most FReepers expected Hanoi John to drag this thing out...MUD
Now wait just a doggone minute, Doll.
...don'tcha think that's goin' a *tad* too far? {g}
Actually I don't.......he really wasn't comfortable with Kerry and is a veteran. And over September and October before he went back to Ohio we had some very long interesting talks about the race....and I know hubby was working on him. he's more of a southern democrat than a northeast liberal.
I had actually called him more to talk about the Delaware Gov race. He's just as disappointed she won as I am.
Yea, & so?
Is that unusual? :o)
...most FReepers expected Hanoi John to drag this thing out..."
Yea well most *Freepers* hang on every word outa the mouths of the brainstems at FNC, too.
I happen to think you're a *bright* guy, always have too.
But never once based my opin on whether you did or didn't agree with the mob mentality one can usually find around here & at other BBs.
Nope.
Was always because I felt you used your head like any good, reasoned *individual* must.
And in this case?
...nothing's changed. ;^)
News Flash- Kerry concedes
I understand, Gabz.
Just hope *you* understand I like teasing.
And y'know, today's a *special* day where we can all bask in the glory of what has to have been up to now the dirtiest, hardest fought election certainly in my lifetime.
...& we all know how fleeting glory is, right?
Yep! da$$hole losing to Thune??:How SWEET it is !!
He is .....
Saddened, deeply saddened . . .
Bu-bye, ar$ehole!!
I'm actually saddened to see the Rats give up so easily...*sniff*

For me too.
About the only thing that made it easier for me is this area is pretty apolitical, there was none of the acrimony amongst friends as I lived with living in Dover for so many years.
Even the discussion playing trivia yesterday afternoon were friendly and good natured. Of course there being only one democrat in the group probably had something to do with that :)
