Well yes, duh!

Women, though we hate to admit it, are always more sensitive to the judgment of men than of other women. We can always dismiss negative the criticism of other women. (Who is she to criticize? Have you seen the rear end on her? She is just jealous of the attention I am getting in this dress!)

A man's negative comments can really hurt us.
