Agreed.. In the grand scheme of the world, it would do no good for Bush to go out there and say, "We know the weapons are in Syria now!!" The warmonger phrase would just pick up more steam and give the Dems ammo to use

Bush has something the Dems will never have.. Class..

He refused to protect himself if it meant compromising the interests of the U.S.A. This is a class act....

You have picked up on a fine point. Not only is he taking the heat not to reveal secrets, I believe he has special plans for Syria and Iran when he gets re-elected. If he were to immediately go after Syria he would never been re-elected.

"KEYWORDS: DEBATE; ELECTION; IRAQ; WAR; WDMS;"

What are "WDMS"? Weapons of Democrat Misery? I want one!

I think it is naive for people to think that Iraq would have voluntarily got rid of all its WMDs. The place is one big weapons depot, and Sadam was not going to give up his trump weapons. Those WMDs were there; Sadam either hid them (burried them in the sand somewhere) or transported them to some other country. The fact that 400 tons are gone should be good evidence that the WMDs were also transported somewhere.

Others have speculated that the reason Bush didn't speak up is because he knew Russia, France, and Germany were behind the whole thing, and he didn't want to expose them because he had to continue to work with them...something that would be difficult to do had he exposed them Since then, Russia has experienced their own 9/11. Interesting debate...

Correctamundo.

The broken glass Democrats, especially Kerry, have the morals of a street dog. They don't get it now, will not get it if given more power. Integrity is an inside job.

That is why you will see a landslide in electoral votes for Bush. Even the old order Mennonites are voting in this election to preserve a sense of integrity and morality in the White House.

While the NAACP is claiming that "voter fraud is not an issue", people of faith will counter the massive fraud in the bigger cities. Common sense will prevail when people close the curtain in the voting booth.

In addition to having class, President Bush may also live by the old adage: "Never argue with a crazy person."

Absolutely true - I remember being incensed during the first debate when F'n Kerry made the comment about us trying to stop nuclear prolifieration while we were working on nuclear bunker-busters. Even though it may not have been totally secret, the debate was no place to air it. Even more telling was his statement that under him, there would be no nuclear bunker-busters - doesn't that just make you feel warm and tingly safe???

My only question. Blix was told by the US just prior to the invasion that he and his teams were looking in the wrong places and we knew where they were. He then said if you (the US) knows, then tell me and I will go there. We didn't. WHY?

"The reason is the same reason he didn't fight back during the debates when Kerry suggested we unilaterally deal with North Korea. He refused to protect himself if it meant compromising the interests of the U.S.A."

yes, Strategery is best played by its inventor. Somebody (a Freeper, may he be blessed forever!) put it this way: "Strategery is like playing Chess and Poker at the same time." Sounds about right to me.

true.

but there is another aspect to this - once we publicly announce the stuff has been move to Syria, the next question becomes - what are you going to do to get Syria to cough it up? Bush is not prepared to take the US to war with Syria.

Heard on FoxNews this morning that Fox and ABC had gotten a UN confidential document to do with the IAEA and it's report on that site and it listed 3, get that number 3 tons, then it became 140 something and now it's 377 tons. I have yet to hear/see that anywhere else

There are several stories out this morning about exactly WHAT was taken out of the munitions dump before U.S. troops got there that has suddenly become so important. I think President Bush is and always has been way above anything any DNC elitist lib can come up with, and W does it with class and authority!
