Since the party they voted for wasn't mentioned in the article AT ALL, my wild guess would be Dem.

Well, their vote(s) is private.

Doesn't it dawn on these people that they aren't anonymous?

Could it be others voted using their name?

When I voted in Texas, you signed your name on the roll when you got your ballot.

How could someone vote more than once? Absentee and then walk-in?

I'd be a lousy criminal.

These were (almost certainly!) democrats, most likely in a repubbie county ( else they'ed never be noticed), who voted on two ballots using their own name.
