Pollster John Zogby surprised the political world back in April with a long-range prediction that John Kerry would defeat George W. Bush for president. On Monday this week, Zogby told me, he changed his mind. He now thinks the president is more likely to be re-elected because he has reinforced support from his base, including married white women.

Great post. Bump. Even John Zogby had to wake up from his frequent naps with liberalism and smell the conservative coffee.

Novak has been sour on Dubya throughout this election cycle. Now it seems that he is coming around. Rove, despite all of those who hate him, is an absolute genius. He outfoxed and outstrategerized the Dems. If Dubya had not have flopped on the first debate, this wouldn't have been close.

Well, I haven't been nervous, but then I'm not technically aligned with the Republican party in registration either. ;-)
So, Zogby doesn't want to be noted as the polster in 2004 that predicted the loser would win? Would appear that way to me.
Zogby's predictions are meaningless. My memory is long, his conduct will not be forgotton. Only question is whether he'll be able to salvage his polling reputation by coming out with the most accurate poll on the eve of the election.
To: LeftyCrusher
I am anything but that. It's just that Zogby's biased, and everyone knows it. Even he had to wake up to the realization that a Bush win is likely. I'm not complacent. I'm confident. I have faith in the American people and have less confidence in polls by a biased leftist.

He's definitely got my vote! It's a bonus to have Laura as first lady for four more years, too!
Welcome to FR anonposter, and good post. It will be interesting after the election to see just how accurate the various polls have been. Many here are of the mind that if a pollster like Zogby says 5 points, it's probably higher.

Eh? Isn't is the other way around?

sKerry's advantage with women has nothing to do with the fact that they are attracted to him, believe me.
But they are just as bright as other Dems.
