They mostly discuss these people's expertise in airdefense but I also recall a ex Russian intelligence guy discussing the fact that at least one of these guys was an expert in military "clean up." Can't find that article right now however.

My wife and I were discussing earlier this evening that there were Russians and (we thought) French in Iraq just prior to the invasion. We come on FreeRepublic and the first thing we find is an article confirming our memories.
Here's where the Russians April 7, 2003, accused us of bombing one of their convoys. Wonder what might've been in that convoy.
