Same here . At least XTC , The Cure and Robyn Hitchcock keep their political views to themselves for the most part .

I wish that were true about XTC. They're probably my favorite band but they definately have a few songs like "Melt the Guns" and "Living Through Another Cuba" that are very leftist and anti-American, I just skip those songs, but Andy's other stuff is too good for me to just remove them from my list.
