I was debating on whether to hit the abuse button on #40, but frankly that post provides insights about the author that are quite valuable in a pathological sense.
If President Bush wins it will prove that his position on immigration is correct, not yours.
The predictions of the Buchanan/Tancredo extremists that President Bush will lose unless he espouses their anti-Mexican policies will have been proven false.
If the Buchanan/Tancredo anti-Bush forces can't even swing just a few points in critical battleground states it will prove that they are an insignificant minority of malcontents out of step with Americans. They will be exposed for a very small group of people who have some internal problems with Mexicans that the rest of the country doesn't share.
President Bush's reelection will signal the end of Tancredo and his appeal to the dark side of human emotions. Do you think he will silently fade away or will he crawl on his belly to Rove and DeLay begging their forgiveness for having allowed Pat and Bay to con him?

You can hope and pray that there will be a major attack this week by an Arab terrorist who swam across the Rio Grande carrying WMDs so you can say "I told you so and don't vote for Bush", but you know that won't happen because President Bush didn't let that terrorist get within a thousand miles of the Rio Grande.

Sure you were mocking Kerry: "Faif wif out public works be dead bros." Give the source that Kerry ever said such a remark. As far as Bush winning proving that he's right on immigration --- how can that be when Kerry is just as much open borders and amnesty and the rest? When two candidates hold the exact same position on one topic --- then topics like abortion win out. Kerry is an extreme-pro-abortionist and should be defeated for that.

One of the great stories that will come out of this election is the widespread defection of a once near-solid bloc of voters, abandoning the tradition of generations and switching their allegiance once more to the party of their original deliverance, and coming to the fold of the Republican party. The American of African descent cannot say that they have become fully integrated until there is a near-parity of voting patterns with the rest of their fellow American citizens.

Every vote by an American of African descent that is shifted from the Democrat column to the Republican column is a triumph, at this point. There was a seismic shift in the vote at the time of the New Deal (when the vote was still largely denied to these same Americans of African descent). Up to then, the few former slaves and descendents of slaves, when they were permitted the right to vote, had voted almost solidly Republican.
Yesterday, as I walked through the parking garage at my office, I saw a car that had an African Americans for Kerry-Edwards. I was stuned. I guess the driver was just reminding himself that he has to vote for a democrat.
