Joe Lockhart, a Kerry campaign spokesman, said that rather than taking the situation seriously, Bush "opted to give a political response and launched yet another negative attack." Well, to paraphrase Dick Morris (in regards to the Clintons): Its a good thing these people are psychopaths, or else they wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Since when did Bush not "jumping" to conclusions matter in the least? He hasn't jumped to conclusions.
BTW, the Iraqis were in fact happy at our arrival.
