Modern science has irrefutably shown that human life begins at conception.

I understand what he means, and I often say this myself, but the determination of what constitutes human life does not ultimately fall under the purview of the natural sciences, but rather under the purview of philosophy. Science can only pinpoint the moment of the individuation of the human body, but philosophy defines the human species itself.

For anyone who's interested, this book is a great resource, and is probably worth more than most high school educations.
