BUSH HITS BACK
The Kerry Spot ^ | 10/27/04 | jim geraghty

“Now the Senator is making wild charges about missing explosives when his top foreign policy adviser admits, quote, 'we do not know the facts.' Think about that. The Senator's denigrating the action of our troops and commanders in the field without knowing the facts. Unfortunately, that's part of a pattern of saying almost anything to get elected — like when Senator Kerry charged that our military failed to get Osama bin Laden at Tora Bora, even though our top military commander, General Tommy Franks, said the Senator's understanding of events does not square with reality, and our intelligence reports placed bin Laden in any of several different countries at the time. Our military is now investigating a number of possible scenarios including that the explosives may have been moved before our troops even arrived at the site. This investigation is important and it's ongoing — and a political candidate who jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your Commander in Chief.

It means if you want the UN running the show here in the U.S. then Kerry is your man.

At a venue of his choice and a choosing of his time, Bush hit a perfect home run.

Never EVER put yourself in the position of being on Defense. Bush knows this and as a result, Kerry is starting to look an awful lot like Howard Dean.

Dana Milbank on msnbc notes this is the 3rd news cycle ("day," we used to call that) with this issue. He sounds surprised.

Let's just talk about anything but Kerry's qualifications to be president. And Edwards' qualifications. This isn't a serious attack on GWB, this missing weapons story; it's a smokescreen. Kerry only has to hold out another five days. If nobody raises any questions about him, he figures he's in.

The guys at democraticunderground are now wringing their hands, wondering if the entire weapons story was a Karl Rove plant. LOL!

It means:

If you want Kofi Annan (U.N. head) as the CIC, then
go ahead and vote for Kerry.

The parallels between Kerry's VVAW activities and these actions against IRAQ are extremely similar. In fact he is playing from the same playbook as he did in 1971. Complain about how bad the military is doing in Vietnam. Complain about how bad the military is doing in Iraq. I wouldn't be surprised to find out he has been having secret meetings with Terror sponsors. Any day now we should hear the new phrasology to the ..."ask the last man to die for a mistake" quote.

Kerry is insane.

These guys are worried and rightfully so. This is one
time when I think they are quite certain the Lord has
a man He wants as CIC. I hope we get what we need (Bush)
rather than what we may well deserve for all our sinful
behavior (Kerry).

Lurch is a 'clear and present danger' to our country. He has managed to divide the country once again during a time of war. He is using the same rhetoric and style as he did years ago before the Senate. The only difference now is that he smiles more. Beneath that smile is the breath of doom and the sentence of death to untold millions of people.

Note to Lurch: Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us.

Democrats Awake! Your party has been taken over by radical anti-American socialists. Rid yourself of the shame that the rabid and violent activists posing as democrats has caused your party on November 2.

Then re-build your party.

I love his response. "If John Kerry had been president, Saddam Hussien would still be present and 100,000 tons of explosives would be going to the terrorists."
