All it takes to give the election to Kerry is a 2-3% swing.
We are now seeing that swing in the polls.
All the Bush campaign has to do is show the chain of custody over Al Qa-Qaa from when the 101st was there until the Weapons Search Team arrived a month later, when the explosives were definitely not there.
I presume we did not leave Al Qa-Qaa completely unguarded in that month.
To date, the Bush campaign has relied on the NBC report, which was later retracted.
We NEED hard evidence that the explosives were not taken from Al Qa-Qaa in that month. We need official military logs showing that we had the facility under watch and 80 trucks did not come in and take the 380 tons of explosives.
Otherwise, the election swings the other way.
This current poor Bush campaign response is NOT adequate.
It's over, no point in voting now.
The fact that Rush, Boortz, and Fox are telling the truth is not enough.
Only about 20% of the electorate watches/listens to them.
We need to rebut this in the Mainstream Media with definitive proof from the military, or we LOSE, mark my words.
NBC retracted? Are you talking about the interview with the producer? All she said was that she wasn't part of the search.
Let me be the first: "THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!"
Either Karl Rove is playing chess, or he's taking a nap. We will find out by end of day tomorrow.
At this late pre-election date, I don't think many Americans care about something called Al-Qa-Qaa.
The lead is eroding, perhaps gone.
Al Qa-Qaa is the reason.
MSM hammering Bush on it.
Factual response is missing.
Don't quit your day job.
Today the Kerry camp will run an ad about al ka ka everywhere the President campaigns. I hope Team Bush has a way to handle this and soon.
No, Tuesday night, Miklashevski said they didn't look for the explosives, and Monday's initial NBC report shouldn't be construed to say they did.
What's the point of this thread? To cheer up DUers?
I don't buy that anyone is paying attention to this issue or even cares.
A piece of it hit me on the head.
No, to wake up the Bush campaign to get the FACTS out.
NBC is not retracting, only saying that there was no formal search and there was not a complete search. Of course, and embeded reporter wouldn't know eveything going on, but the fact is the NBC story neither confirms or denies the existence of the explosives.
I think the real answer lies in the 3ID search of the facility on April 3.
sKerry is desperate!!!!! Bush will win 330-208!!!!
chicken little alert!
If you watch the MSM (which 80% of voters do), you would see this is THE issue that is being talked about, and it is eroding us.
