Not every vote should count.
We have one person/one vote in this country, if one follows the rules accordingly.
If WaPo doesn't like it, perhaps they should organize a political party, run for office, and attempt to change the rules to their liking.
If you ever doubted that the gloves are off...this article is proof.
This is exactly as I predicted: the Dems are spinning the efforts to stop vote fraud as "suppressing voters".
Expect them to get more and more vocal about this around election day. Watch for cries of "disenfranchisement, intimidation," etc. if you question a person's "right" to vote twice, vote for the the dead, vote in multiple precincts, etc.
Any ideas on how we can prevent/stop vote fraud without the Dems turning it into a "victims" issue?
Let's pass over the implication that a registration drive waged by a liberal group is inherently fraud-ridden, and look instead at that word "ringers."
I guess efforts to catch shoplifters are suppressing commerce.
This is what infuriates me about these leftist newspapers - not only DON'T they report any of the mountain of fraud and voting irregularities perpetrated by Democtrats, they want their readers to believe that it's Republicans committing all the fraud! I hate the NYT, WaPo, LAT and Boston Globe. They are lying assholes that need to be investigated for treason.
Yes, it is shameful to desire that people only vote once, and that their alive when they do so.
Suggestion: Everyone should take one of those cheap throwaway cameras with them to the polls and actually take or pretend to take pictures of the commies standing around with demonrat signs. Then inform them you're turning their picture over to your State Attorney General. Should be great fun! Get em all lathered up.
here we go the liberals and the race baiting...after all the flim flaming the democrats have perpetrated in this election the washington post whines about republicans..
mountain out of molehill alert!
Gee, guess this guy got the DNC Talking Point Memo requiring their stooges to "preemtively" accuse voter surpression.
Hmm, Let's see. Democrat run counties enroll thousands of voters MORE then the census shows living there. The Republican legally, an properly, try to prevent this voter fraud and the Wholescale Propagandist dams the REPBS????
In Ohio, Republicans have recruited 3,600 poll monitors and assigned them disproportionately to such heavily black areas as inner-city Cleveland, where Democratic "527" groups have registered many tens of thousands of new voters.
Gee but those 10,000 lawyers the Kerry Campaign has out there this election day just seems to have eluded the WP's attention.
