Colorado By the Numbers
George W. Bush ^ | October 26, 2004

GREELEY, CO - The numbers tell the story of the battle for Colorado. In this crucial state, there are numbers for everything.  A few of interest include:

0:  Total amount of money the Kerry/Edwards campaign plans to spend on television advertising in Colorado.

4.9:  The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 4.9%. It is below the national average of 5.4%, and down from 6.0% a year ago.

8:  Just 8 days remain until Election Day.

9:  Number of Colorado electoral votes.

10:  Total number of campaign stops in Colorado since May by President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

30:  Number of Democrat Senators that voted for the Healthy Forests Restoration Act, which actively protects Colorado’s forests from destruction.  Senator Kerry missed the vote on Healthy Forests, called it “Orwellian”, and now claims that he likes “a lot of parts” of the bill.

77:  Percentage of the Colorado Senatorial and Congressional Delegation that is supporting President Bush.

25,000:  Colorado has more than 25,000 Bush-Cheney ’04 volunteers.

31,200:  Rise in the number of payroll jobs in Colorado in the past year (seasonally adjusted).

76,000:  More than 76,000 jobs are “insourced” to Colorado from companies based in other countries.

Doggone but I see alot of Kerry Edwards signs in Denver Metro. I have lived in Colorado all my life and partly because it always voted Republican. If this state votes for Kerry I am moving to Wyoming.

Add 258,000: The number of registered Republicans who had participated in early voting as of Friday.

96,000: Number of registered Dems who had done the same.

This state is in the bag, and that's why Kerry left.
