Because you always dodge the relevant questions.

Oh, for crying out loud. I have dodged NO questions. I have answered them over and over with far more patience than the silly little things deserve.

Why is this question difficult for you to answer: If I, as a non-Christian, saw a self-professed Christian raping a child, would it be "absurd" for me to declare that act/person as "unChristian?"

It is not, in any way, "difficult to answer." That has nothing to do with my point.

Of course raping a child would be "unChristian." It would also be against the law and immoral regardless of the moral code. It would also be unBuddhist, unShinto, unHindu, unJewish, unMuslim, unAnimist, and unSatanist.

But, I am not talking about brutal criminal offenses. I am talking about doctrine. I am talking about an non-believer lecturing a believer on what he is supposed to believe. I am talking about an atheist lecturing a Christian, or Jew, on how to interpret the Bible. I am talking about an atheist lecturing a Christian on how to live the Christian life. The very idea is ludicrous.

If you knew that the religion of, say, Islam says that Muslims are NOT supposed to get likkered up and eat a ham samich, and you saw a Muslim doing exactly that.... where is the logical flaw in you pointing this out to said Muslim?

Sure. But, again, that isn't really my point. I know NOTHING about living as a Muslim. I have never read the Koran nor have I ever spoken to an Imam. My only experience with Muslims was befriending an exchange student from Iran when I was in college. His name was Hassan and I would regularly get him stoned and drunk and we always had a good time.

That limited experience with one Muslim does not qualify me to dictate to Muslims how to live as a Muslim. Not with any validity, anyway.

The majority of the Bible is made up of the Pentatuch, Psalms, Proverbs, histories and prophets and is considered sacred Scripture by Jews and Christians alike. Therefore, I read Jewish Scriptures all the time, and virtually everything I read in the Bible is by and about the Jewish people. But, it would never cross my mind to lecture to Jews on how the are to live out their faith.

That's the point.

Ah, so you CAN make proclamations regarding the faiths of others.

>non-believer lecturing a believer ...
>atheist lecturing a Christian on how to live the Christian life....
>dictate to Muslims how to live as a Muslim....
>lecture to Jews on how the are to live out their faith

Nobdy is discussing "lecturing" or "dictating how to live" to anybody. You are diverting from the point... again. The point is that someone outside of one faith can recognize when someone in that faith is behaving in a way not in accordance with that faith.

Again, Christinaity is not secret dogma. A non-Christian can note non-Christian behavior in a Christian. It is the height of ridiculousness for you to state that just because soemone isn't a Christian, they are wholly unable to note such things. Remember, a great many non-Christians once *were* Christians.

> I would regularly get him stoned and drunk

Even though you knew that to Muslims getting drunk was sinful? You *knowingly* led someone into sin? How odd.
