They were arrested because of lewd pictures they had of their own kid(s). A long-time clinic protestor I spoke with today said it involved one of the young daughters and Fredeick's of Hollywood-style attire.

I remember that the pics were said to be rather graphic poses. I think the Ragsdales finally convinced the prosecutor to drop the charges saying that they were just innocent pictures of their child in play. It did take quite awhile and it was in the news here for a long time.
