Rush just explained that he is taking us through the media treatment but said they'll survive, they always do. But after setting the scene with the media treatment the focus should be on Kerry.
He had started out the show saying the story was designed to show that President Bush was unfit to lead by this "blunder". Instead, Kerry's handling of the story has shown that he is the one who is unfit. He was first in line to blame the U.S. in time of war. First to blame the troops, first to blame a sitting president.
