I think there's a good reason why the Bush campaign has not run ads about Kerry's anti-war activities: this subject is too long and complex to cover in a 1-minute

Yes, anti-war activities are too complicated a topic to cover in a one minute ad, especially since many potential voters would not have the faintest clue about the war in VietNam, except by now, the MTV generation does know it was "Nixon's War," and that Jack Kennedy was a Saint and a Rock and Roll Star who freed the Black Slaves with MLK....

But, a 5-commercial flight, featuring one big lie per commercial, with the tag line "Kerry is a Liar" is certainly not too complicated. Why the hell are we paying Karl Rove the big bucks if he can't handle something like this?

Arnold Schwarznegger Voice Over:

"John Kerry got a less than an honorable discharge from the Navy. If you say I'm lying, John, sue me. Release your military records and prove me wrong. Prove me wrong, and I will vote for you."

Henry Kissinger Voice Over:

"When I was negotiating with the NVA to bring us an honorable peace in VietNam, John Kerry worked with the enemy to sabotage our efforts. That's why his picture is in their Heroes of International Communism Museum."

Nothing too complicated here.

I just saw the "Ashley's Story" ad, and it moved me (who cries very seldom) to tears. I am sure that the hardened cynics in MoveOn and other pro-Kery organizations will pan the ad, but so what! I hope it works with others as it worked with me.

I am very disappointed that the Soros factor is not being picked up by Bush campaign strategists. As far as I'm concerned, it is one of the two or three MAJOR issues of this Presidential race!!!! And I do hope that the Republicans have a VERY effective defense against Soros' plan to steal the election!!
