The second thing is when he mentions the leaders of his party that need to weed out the undesirables - Carter and Byrd. These two are out-of-touch with the average American much less the average Democrat. One is an ex-Klan member! The author fails to realize that these two are large parts of the problem, which leads me to my last point.
The Democrat party - to me - has always been corrupt. From the very beginning when it stood against the Republican Party and for slavery, it has portrayed itself as standing against the freedom and liberty of all men and women. As some of our "bomb throwers" would say, if they actually told the American people what they really want to do, none of them would hold any political office.
Thank you for this wonderful wonderful article...the only thing I have a disagreement about is that I think it's too late to fix the fascists. I doubt they will wake up one day and change.
I know some of these modern-day fascists, and they have absolutely nothing inside to redeem. If there will be fixing, God will have to do it.
