I know I'm going to be the odd man out on this thread, but I got to speak my mind. My family voted straight Dem until 1968, and we've voted (almost) straight Republican since we went for Nixon. I disagree with Kerry about a whole range of foreign and domestic policy issues, and I think he (like Fonda) were wrong to oppose the Vietnam War. But, guys, I just don't believe that Kerry was/is a traitor. This "Kerry is traitor" idea just makes Conservatives look like rabid irrational madmen. We disagree with him, and think he's wrong about a whole manner of things, but we for the sake of our country we've got to stop this Kerry the liar, Kerry the traitor line. I happen to think that Kerry is a good man (ok- shoot me!), but a seriously misguided one, and someone about whom our side has been willing to throw dirt at. That's politics, but at some point we have to be Americans and not just Republicans. There is a chance he will be our Commander in Chief, and if that happens despite our best efforts, the political health of our Republic requires that we respect the will of the people, and that we stop poisoning ourselves by circulating lies that, if we were honest, don't really make any sense. Hate me if you like, but these are my honest thoughts. If our worst fears are realized and Kerry gets in, we will survive it, and win four years later. God bless America.

"In France on his honeymoon"? LOL, oh really?! Was Kerry honeymooning in Paris while his wife was honeymooning in Jamaica? That's what the above quotes would seem to suggest!
But then what's one more lie to a man who found it so easy to betray his country? No wonder his mother found it necessary to counsel him about the importance of integrity from her death bed.

Apart from the question of how many people spend their honeymoons looking for something to occupy their time, isn't there somewhere reported the fact that "both sides" here meant the NV and the SV communists? Anyone who recalls, please refresh my memory.
