'Explosives already missing when troops moved in to secure facility on April 10, 2003, one day after the liberation of Iraq'...
NBCNEWS: HUGE CACHE OF EXPLOSIVES VANISHED FROM SITE IN IRAQ -- AT LEAST 18 MONTHS AGO -- BEFORE TROOPS ARRIVED
I agree that this post should run continuously so that people can see the truth and contact all media that ran this garbage and demand that they run retraction, apology to POTUS and voters, and hold Kerry/Edwards et al responsible for shooting thier mouths off and attacking a sitting president based on unsubstantiated garbage. This should be reposted every hour on the hour with calls to turn this against the Kerry campaign so that the papers have to show what a shameless group of trolls they are. This can be a great opportunity if used correctly.
Thanks. Much appreciate the reply. I did miss that. But, I was looking to see if NBC itself has anything in print.
And with what is apparently going to be splashed all over the New York Sun tomorrow, this is only the beginning of the smelly brown deluge ...
Didn't Tammy Wynette sing that?
Even Madeline Albright mentioned this in her interview on the Daily Show. The Dems are really are good at getting the faxes on their talking points out to everybody.

I think you can agree..we have a lot of new joins..Here's a good one for them to run with for the last week of the campaign. Tomorrow's spin will be amazing. Do we want to turn a lot of new joins away, or employee their services?

I rarely go on to this website and post. I lurk for I agree with many other posters on issues. However, this story has gotten my goat. I was in Iraq and worked in the Coalition Provisional Authority. Through informal discussions with military and civilian personnel assigned and contractors associated with the disposal of the munitions this came up in conversations. Many sites that held sensitive items were looted before the arrival of the Coalition Forces arrived including caches of weapons, documents, and valuables. I do remember the discussion of such a large quantity munitions disappearing and how much damage it could cause Coalition Forces (CF). The fear of many people with authority and fairly high rank military and civilian alike was the use against us was high. During my time there CF captured many large caches of weapons usually one to two a week (a large cache being considered 10 Semis trailers worth) of various types of munitions. Also, numerous smaller cashes found during search and seizure operations usually one to two a day. I personally feel if these sensitive munitions did not leave the country (i.e. Syria or Iran) the terrorists and Saddam's holdovers have been using them in operations against the CFs. An average of 15 to 20 attacks a day, mostly road side bombs in Baghdad, and many more road side bombs were destroyed before detonation. You must remember much has been captured or destroyed during CF direct operations and it is possible that the missing munitions could already be in CF custody. Please take this as speculation of events and not the total picture and Pray for all those in country.
The International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors last saw the explosives in January 2003 when they took an inventory and placed fresh seals on the bunkers.
