Hawaii is 6 hours behind EST. So 9pm EST is 3pm in Hawaii... and Hawaii is very slow with its vote count.

True about slow vote count, however, HST will be -2PST and -5 EST on November 2nd.

Montana is slow with their count here too. Typically the returns aren't known until after 4am EST, unless of course there's a landslide then they can safely call the election. I remember 2000 vividly and didn't see Montana called until just before the MSM went off the air around 5am EST last year.
