You know, I've noticed a peculiar Kerry speech pattern. It's the dash insert lie. "I've never had any doubt -- and I've said this publicly -- about our ability to ..."

He always inserts, " -- And I've said this before-- , or "-- and I've said this consistently --" or "and I've said this on several occasions--"

And every time it is something he has NOT said before, or if he has, he's said the opposite on more occasions. Something to look for.

I sincerely hope Kerry's bit about Saddam finds its way into a Bush ad. If it doesn't, Bush almost deserves to lose.

Kerry also repeats words or phrases as if saying them twice makes it more "important" and actually somewhat credible

"-- seared -- seared deep into my mind..."


"-- now you don't understand..."


"-- I don't believe in labels -- I am the real conservative on..."
