Perhaps with their rabid anti-Semitism, "Nazi" is a term of endearment.
Given that the Saudis hate the Jews, I am trying to figure out if they are trying to laud Bush or insult him by calling him a 'Nazi.'
I believe that the Arabs were quite tight with the Nazis, themselves.
'In Any Event, it is Israel That Has Gained the Most'
As always. LOL!
Yet further proof that W is a pawn of the Saudis. It's all so obvious.
One missing piece of the puzzle, however - they don't mention Halliburton. Too secret, I suppose.
They must like Pres. Bush.
Muslims LOVE Nazis. The Nazis liked Muslims, too. The SS raised a formation in Yugoslavia and wanted more...
Saudis are dog droppings in the sand.........
Drop the "r" and you'll get it right. The Wahabi scum should be paid back for 9/11!
I was up in Ohio this weekend (I'm from a solid red state and hence protected) and couldn't believe what I saw on TV from the 527's, mainly that Bush and the Saudi family are longstanding best buds. Of course the war in Iraq is just so Bush can stay on the House of Saud's good side, I guess. So who would have guessed it? Just another example of the mad genius of Karl Rove to have the Saudi newspapers condemn Bush. It's brilliant, I tell you!
There's no question that Prescott Bush, the grandfather of the current president, was implicated in extensive shady business dealings with the Nazis before the US entered the war. It's also true that he was took a deep interest in eugenics and to this end took an energetic role in furthering the fortunes of Planned Parenthood.
Prescott's son -- the future Bush 41 -- followed his father's lead as errand boy and cheerleader for PP, especially during his days as a Texas congressman.
This isn't slander; it's history, not matter how embarassing or inconvenient.
Give me a frickin' break.
With "friends" like the Saudis, America will never be wanting for enemies.
This can't be! There's an ad that plays on talk radio about every hour that says that W and the Saudis are best buddies.
It says he had Bin Ladin's family flown out of the country "under the cover of darkness when most other flights were still grounded."
It says that these family members would have told us where Bin Laden was and that because of his oil connections (remember they bailed out his failed oil business), he didn't want them interviewed or questioned.
It MUST be true because on the same station another ad says that in January he's going to cut senior's social security 50%.
The dems wouldn't lie about this stuff, would they?!
There was nothing shady about their dealings with Nazi Germany.
At that time Fascism looked like the future, the only alternative to Communism. Lots of folks had dealing with Nazis.
Standard Oil sold 'em fuel right up to the last minute.
IBM sold 'em punch cards, readers, etc.
Ford and GM opened plants there (and applied for reparations after the war to compensate for their bombed factories!). Henry Ford openly supported Hitler's anti-Semetic programs.
IT WAS ALL LEGAL! There was nothing shady about it until after the "trading with enemy" acts were passed.
Absolutely. Read "An Army at Dawn," a history of the North African campaign in WWII. The Arabs, as a group, did all they could to assure a Gernam victory. That alone makes this Saudi allegation a real howler.
Regarding these allegations, the Anti-Defamation League has stated, "Rumors about the alleged Nazi 'ties' of the late Prescott Bush, the grandfather of President George W. Bush, have circulated widely through the Internet in recent years. These charges are untenable and politically motivated." (Link here) The rumors began with ultrarightist attacks on George H.W. Bush during his 1980 presidential run, and were renewed during his 1988 run. It's all a big lie.The New York Herald-Tribune never referred to him as "Hitler's Financial Angel". The Tribune referred to a German industrialist, Fritz Thyssen, as "Hitler's Angel," and mentioned Bush only as an employee of an investment banking firm Thyssen used in the USA. The label was ironic, since by the time the Tribune article appeared, Hitler had turned on Thyssen and imprisoned him. There has been a determined effort by Canadian bloggers, apparently connected with Lyndon LaRouche, to circulate reports that Bush himself was known as "Hitler's Angel".
So I suppose it was all a crazy mistake when Union Banking Corporation, in which Bush was a director, was seized by the U.S. government on Oct. 20, 1942, under the Trading with the Enemy Act.
Exactly.
