I have a question. Back when Rush interviewed the author of "Unfit for Command" he stated after the interview something about them having an October surprise. Does anyone else remember this? Has anyone heard anything about it? I have been curious about this but hate vanity posts so I will ask it here.

I'm a vet living in PA, registered Republican, and I haven't gotten a swift boat letter.
There's no surprise. From the beginning, the swift boat vets homed in on Kerry's gargantuan character flaws and BROKE HIS BACK. Any post mortem on Kerry's loss will feature the efforts of the swift vets, prominently. Of course, there is a great deal that Kerry has done WAY wrong from the beginning, but yanking the scab off America's Vietnam wound, well....Kerry's character and integrity have been hemorrhaging ever since. Thanks swift Vets!

Prior to that I had tinfoil propaganda.
I mix it up.
Saw O'Neil versus his book ripoff guy (Unfit Commander writer) on C-SPAN on Sunday in Houseton. The crowd was definitely anti-Swift Vet but of course O'Neil was great. One Vietnam Vet stood up and basically took no crap from the Liberal drunk weenies at the back of the room. It just takes one brave Vet to scare the sissy boy Rats.
If O'Neill would let supporters know where he is speaking, people would have shown up and supported him. I don't want it fully published so the DU people know. But if the state and date are mentioned, private mail to those interested would help those of us who want to support him. I would gladly have driven to Houston had I known in advance.
Let's give the Vets and POWs the homecoming they never received from a grateful nation.
