A lot of people vote for the First Lady and not the candidate.
To: kattracks
Laura Bush is class personified.
Momma-T is the school in a flu epidemic - No Class.

Thought that it was going to be W's Mother, I am watching her on C-SPAN now.
To: Enduring Freedom
You're dead on. That extra 15% the media would get for Kerry? Already delivered. That's the only explanation for a candidate with his liabilities doing this well.
That said, Dubya will thump him like a drum on Nov. 2nd.

"Laura Bush is class personified."
Laura's spokeman had her comments regarding Theresa's comments about Laura never having a job:
"She didn't take offense. She knows how difficult it is to be the wife of a man campaigning for President".

That said, Dubya will thump him like a drum on Nov. 2nd.Hope your right. I even have myself convinced half the time, that it'll be a blow out.
But then again, 1992 is REAL, real fresh in my mind. This is just too dang close, and I don't see the race breaking either way. And, in event of a close vote anywhere, I have read of many well-documented examples of voter fraud, well organized and always conducted by the Democrats. Plus, Gore out and out tried to steal the 2000 election via legal gimicks and a few, local, corrupt election officials.
If this election isn't a blow out for Bush, there is nothing that the Kerry Democrats won't do to attain power .. nothing! They pretty much feel they can get away with anything, no one will stop them, no one will report the truth if they do.
So, I'll be nervous until this horse is in the barn.

The First Lady of the United States of America, Laura Bush.
To her right is Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

Laura Bush is impossible to dislike! And I, as a 57 year old man, like looking at her.
To: kattracks
Laura, like her husband, has grown into her role. She has been outstanding as the First Lady.

Laura and Condi should make dual appearances in Florida this last week. They should talk about the opportunities for women, especially minority women to make lives for themselves by believing in the lord and having faith in thier abilities.
They should visit every church in the state. Force Kerry to call them out on the carpet. Then they can turn around and nail Kerry to the wall about churces losing tax exempt status.
Scare the bejeezus out of the ministers.
