Libertarians voted for Ross Perot? LOL, you must be inhaling.
My post on the RLC forum for those Libertarians who want to "vote their conscience":
Bottom line:
Even if you think government intervention and spending is a wash between Democrats and Republicans, I ask you:
"Do you want a Pres. Kerry defending our country and laughing at Libertarians, while Badnarik teaches skydiving, but your conscience is pure; or a Pres. Bush defending our country, beholden to Libertarians, while Badnarik teaches skydiving, and you swallow your pride for a day."
You choose.
And I submit that this is an accurate description of the reality.
BTW, I voted Libertarian in my in my first election in 1980, but Republican ever since. I consider myself a Libertarian Republican, but have flirted with changing parties, and still might...but I cannot come up with a sane reason why a Libertarian, Constitutionalist, etc. would not vote for Bush this year.
Well, SOMEONE has gotten to him. Incredible! So much for the Libertarians - just lost any respect I had for them.
Straight from the LP...for your reading enjoyment.
Thanks. I hope you appreciate four to 8 years of Kerry because you had to feel good in your shorts.
LOL! You must be mistaken...I never dance with cheap tricks.
This ad campaign is bought and paid for by the "Wahhabi Lobby". Fellow Libertarians should not vote with the party this year. "Libertarian" Michael Badnarik is a dangerous fraud. Badnarik--who is Lebanese and has taken tons of cash from the American Muslim Alliance (the group from which even Hillary returned the contributions!) has disturbing ties to supporters of Islamic terrorism. The Muslims are using the "Libertarian" label to hurt Bush. Badnarik is a total phony. Libertarians should not be fooled by this Wahhabist stooge!
