We have got to stop meeting like this.
But, there is a post that has generated some 500 responses on a complete NON-ISSUE. We are all keyed up, waiting for this election to be over, but let’s not lose our minds.
We are falling for a trap that has been set months ago. Many trolls have infiltrated this board, and they intend to do all they can to demoralize you, with postings of gloom and doom in response to what they see in the media. Some FReepers naturally respond in kind with negative comments about Bush and his team.
You can all help each other out by being a little less emotional and a LOT more skeptical about what you are going to see in the MSM next week. Most of it will be for the direct purpose of making you feel hopeless enough not to go to the polls. There have been two news items posted just today that are completely false stories, then we get the Drudge thing about an old story that actually helps Bush more than it hurts him.
What happens is that the Left reads your responses and uses them against you. You can expect to see stories about "Depressed Republicans" or "Republicans Have Lost Faith" or some other crap like that in the news this week. Pay no attention to it. Bush's internal polls suggest that if we turn out to vote, there is NO WAY HE CAN LOSE THIS ELECTION.
The LEFT knows this, and they are doing all they can to scare you, anger you, and do anything else that they can do to convince you that it is a waste of time for you to go to the polls.
We know their game, yet we fall for it over and over again. Do yourself a favor and turn off Chris Matthews. Turn off MSNBC, ABC, CNN and the rest, and on Election Day, get your ass to the polls and shove your vote right up their ass. This election is ours to win, so don’t be swayed by negativity. Get out there and win this one for your country!

I happened publicly because the UN could not be trusted - they broke their dentures from grinding their teeth so hard.
Trouble is too many DU "visitors" have been coming here
(probably for long enough not to be newbies) and posting
very subtle stuff until now they're posting not-so-subtle
stuff to try to do a psych number on us, or to demoralize.

Remember to tell your friends it's really an old story (it is, after all) and it's just being treated as important because it's October. The public is conditioned to think of anything in Octber as damaging to the the current occupant of the White House (if Republican) or the challenger (again, if Republican).
What boggles MY mind is that any Freeper worth his or her salt would actually think that ANY thing coming out in October would be against Kerry! Get serious, folks! Think of Kerry as a pissed off suitor and Teresa as a jilted woman: Both are inherently dangerous!

7. Read the Internet Blogs, Drudge, National Review, CrushKerry, Powerline, LGFootballs, SwiftVets, etc.
8. Donate money to Free Republic, Thune Campaign, SwiftVets, RNC.
9. Pray, pray, pray.
