Singer Ashlee Simpson's "extra help" may have been exposed when a "Saturday Night Live" audience heard her voice - singing the wrong song - while she held a microphone at her waist. "May have"?
Is this like "The CBS memos may have been fakes"?
Does the news media ever take a stand on anything that does not bash Republicans?

I have things in my belly button that are smarter than her...

I pretty confident that Frank Sinatra never used a "vocal aid" in his performances.
To: truthandlife
people trying to defend her because 'everyone does it' should get a grip and realize SHE BLAMED HER BAND for the trouble. She's not only an untalented singer, she's scum who will blame others for her problems. Kinda like john kerry, who she supports.

I saw a big lump on her back!

Huh? Jessica Simpson? Who's that? I thought the headline meant OJ Simpson.
In that case...Never mind...
To: Semper Paratus
He did - they were called 'smokes and booze'. ;)

Is this like "The CBS memos may have been fakes"? Yes, the sound was authentic, even though her voice was faked.

...realize SHE BLAMED HER BAND for the trouble...
You mean this-
Kerry: "I don't fall down. That son of a bitch knocked me over."

Her singing was "fake but accurate?"
To: truthandlife
Dang, that was funny, especially when the vocals started up at the beginning there and she obviously had no clue they were about to start.

Her record company, Geffen Records, said there was a computer glitch. Instead of some pretaped electronic percussion, the recording of "Pieces of Me" started mistakenly performing, the record company said in a statement.
Uh-huh. What a lark. It was such fun watching Milli Vanilli crash and burn. Muzack on they typically play continuously on the radio has always sucked but it's been particularly putrid since the late 80's. Much like SNL.

Exactly.
And kerry blaming the guard member for his flubbed opening pitch.
Is it any wonder she's a kerry/edwards supporter?

I don't give a rat's ass about Simpson. I actually watched the show last night (first time in years) and was appalled at the vicious language directed at the vice-president's gay daughter.
I quit watching the show years ago because it sucked so bad; it still does.

SHE BLAMED HER BAND for the trouble. The guitarist meant to hit the fuzz pedal and accidentally hit the "Ashlee Simpson's last song" pedal. Whoops. It happens all the time.

Heh. Must be a new line of pedals from BOSS.
I don't know if you caught it, but once she left the stage the band started to kick in and they were grinning at each other.
