Support for Kerry is low even among the Democratic and left circle.
HERE'S ANOTHER SURPRISE. I WAS JUST ABOUT TO POST. THE INLAND VALLEY DAILY BULLETIN ...SAN BERNADINO COUNTY.CAIF.HAS ENDORED BUSH. THIS IS A LIBERAL RAG TOO
I have a very liberal uncle who recently changed his support from Kerry to Bush. He says he's waited far too long for John Kerry to come up with a solid plan for the nation. With two weeks to go with no plan from Kerry, my uncle feels that Kerry will freeze in the face of opposition from both sides. He feels that George Bush takes a lot more heat than he really deserves.
Another problem my uncle has is the whole swiftvet controversy. He hasn't been happy with the way the swiftvets, the POWs or the national gaurdsmen have been treated.
I have a feeling that a lot of people are having a lot of the same concerns as my uncle.
Wow. This is going to be an interesting election. I don't think its going to be as close as they say, especially if we didn't have to worry about vote fraud.
These papers (all 3 of them)have to deal with the fact that their readership has been moving to the right for several decades, they can wake up or be satisfied to be the designated fish wrap.

save for later
I knew this couldn't have been The Sacramento Eff. I'd've had to fall over, dead as Julius Caesar.
Still alive.

Not only that, but how come Kerry allowed his campaign to be blind-sided by the Swift Boat Veterans -- even though he has known since 1971 that John O'Neil and a whole bunch of disgruntled Viet Nam vets were out there?
How come he didn't have a plan in place to neutralize them even before the primaries were over?
How come it took him two weeks after their first ads hit to come up with a response?
How come when he finally did respond, he attacked the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time by claimin gthat Bush was behind the ads -- even though there is far more evidence tying Sadaam to al Qaeda than there is tying Bush to the SBVT?
If he was too dumb to successfully handle the SBVT, how can he possibly be smart enough to handle al Qaeda, Iran, Syria and N. Korea? If John Kerry is possessed of the superior intelligence with which he is normally credited by the MSM, can anyone -- ANYONE -- point to a single example which would tend to support that assumption?

In Palm Springs? Hardly a hot ed of conservatism. I rather suspect the Desert Sun is receive some pretty harsh words from it readers in the form of letters to the editor.
You are correct, I was merely observing that The Desert Sun seems to have slipped to the right, At least in this endorsement, which was pretty good.
Heard a TV ad today. Kerry talking tough on OBL and al qaeda......not a word about Iraq.
Thoughtful editors are starting to realize that they need conservative readers.
PALM SPRINGS, California
The Long Beach Press-Telegram also endorsed Bush, wonder of wonders.
