If - this was 'coverered up' - that may mean that the Dueffler report is inaccurate too - since whatever ELSE there was also kept secret.

What other things might a dictator store in the same complex as nuclear weapon components?

This isn't going to run as anti-Bush. The only reason to keep this secret was operational security on the investigation - if they were investigating this and didn't want to give away anything.

The only reason a DOD directive would be involved to not cooperate with UN oversight 'committees' would be in investigation of an imminent or present danger to the US.
