For what is worth, I am not a troll - I am the wife of a Viet vet that signed up here after reading "Unfit for Command" and after this site got so much publicity from the Rathergate story.
Now, I am sorry if you didn't like my post, but I doubt there is anyone here that wants Kerry defeated any more than I. In fact, I come here looking for ways to get the message out about Kerry's Vietnam history.
I just feel that the "average voter" doesn't become as informed as internet users, and are more likely to vote from emotion instead of facts. The NYT stories will play on those emotions.
BTW, I have never started a thread, and I do appreciate the wonderful give and take on this website. I just wish you didn't have to be so rude.

I'm new here too - in fact, I also was drawn to this site as a result of the whole fabricated document scandal, which I'm sure will be resolved very soon (yeah right).

I welcome you to FR. Sometimes emotion gets the best of everyone...even long time freepers. For the most part you will find this a wonderful place for news and comments. Just overlook the few who don't add much substance...you'll find the majority do. There are many great minds here...stay tuned.!
