Looks like this story

So the story is...Bush and his lack of planning, etc, let this ammo get lifted and now it's being used to attack our own soldiers. If it happened it was a mistake, mistakes happen IN WAR...Good Grief, could you IMAGINE fighting WWII with this nonsense being reported every day? The good news is it will come out in the Times, which everyone knows is a Dem house organ...die hard dems will believe everything, republicans won't believe anything and independents will still be undecided...the funny thing is the morning shows will scream and cry about this for the first part of the week, praying for some traction...then will be all the more saddened and shocked with W starts to gain midweek and kicks a$$ the following Tue...

If this gets into the media cycle and is talked about endlessly all week (the LAST WEEK before the election) it will have a major negative impact for W. That said, I have no idea if it will or not.
What a screwed up hit piece and loaded with redundancies. Sure doesn't want the reader to overlook that it's all Bush's fault. It reads like the author is having an orgasm while he was tapping it out on his keyboard.
"Now we are starting to see the human consequences of that incompetence. I don't think we can know yet how many of our own troops have been killed with explosives that were looted because the administration didn't field enough troops to secure key installations like the al Qa Qaa facility. But the number may be high. And I'm sure we'll get more details on that count in reporting over the next few days."
"In any case, it puts the consequences of the administration's incompetent management of the war and occupation in a whole new light."
This jaded view is "breaking news" that's supposed to make Kerry look bad?
Marshall is just a shill for the Democrats.
His biased reporting and spin are famous in the blogosphere.
Don't forget that he was to have been one of the reporters on the story that Newsweek pulled on "fake documents". Josh thought it was going to be his big break. "OOPS'!
This was timed by the NYT to offset any negative press from the Washington Times article about another Kerry lie regarding meeting with the UN security council. No way is this a coincidence.
