I was looking for something on Google, and stumbled across this kewl website. For whatever reason, ( probably way too much time on their hands ) they've taken the Electoral College map of the US and animated it to show the states changing sides on a daily basis.....

So if polls and projections are making you dizzy, click on Animated Electoral College Map

, and you can really get dizzy, or at least get a major headache.

This should be a hoot on Election Night..and probably far better than Tim Russert's stupid little board, which he's gonna bring back again, sadly..

How easy it is to tell that its Republicans who are the True believers in Democracy.

I borrowed this line from the bottom of a page from

www.electronic-vote.org

It's not the voting that's democracy; it's the counting.

Tom Stoppard

The democrats just want votes, legal, illegal, it doesn't matter as long as they are votes. Republicans want only legitimate votes to be counted. Many of the things that democrats decry as voter intimdation are simply rules in place, most voted on and approved by democrats, to ensure that only legitimately registered voters cast votes.

This actually looks very good for Bush. The majority of the time Kerry was at 270 or above it was a minimum of eight weeks ago.

As a public service for anyone whose eyes are cockeyed from looking at the animated electoral map...

Post the cartogram view of it... I guess that is state size weighted by number of electors.
