Black Americans need to wake up and smell the fresh coffee. Affirmative action is not helping Blacks, but keeping them downtrodden. How come Koreans, some who have little to no English, do well in America? How come 90 percent of bodegas and 86 percent of salons in New York City are owned by Koreans? Blacks from Africa or Caribbean do well in America. How come Blacks from Africa or Caribbean work hard and do well in America? I read somewhere that Hip-Hop rap is a form of Black self-hatred.
Indeed. How come wave after wave after wave of poor immigrants have arrived on these shores over the past 200 years, and all have surpassed native black Americans?
My grandpa came here speaking only Gaelic. He worked for the NYC Sanitation Department for 35 years. He raised seven kids. He stayed married to the same woman.
Now his descendents are doctors, lawyers, Ph.D.'s, scientists, librarians, teachers, professors, business owners,firefighters, and policemen.
