I must respectfully dissent from your comparison of the Golden Stud to Pres. Ford.

Gerry Ford may have taken a few too many shots to the head playing football, but his heart was in the right place, and considering what he walked into, he was able to restore confidence in the Office of the Presidency.

In my opinion, the only major mistake he made was in pardoning Nixon. It is interesting to note that, after he stood tall in the Mayaguez incident, no other countries messed with us during his administration.

After Carter got in, things went straight to Hades.

I freely admit that Gerry Ford had his limitations, but it is my opinion that he deserves better than to be paired with a man who is a draft dodger, a known prejurer, a serial rapist, and an opportunist who sold us out as a nation to the highest bidder.

The worst thing anyone can say about Gerry Ford is that his clock was cleaned too many times, and that he had aproblem descending stairs.

A simpler time - no oral sex in or near the Oval Office - no renting out of the Lincoln bedroom to high bidding enemies of the U.S.

I'd settle for a Gerry Ford over a Bill Clinton (or a John Kerry) anyday.

There are so many people out there who loathe Billary, that this is a risk. Not that Republicans aren't enthused about the election already, but bringing BJ Clinton into the mix at least makes sure we get riled up more than ever.

Plus the fact that BJ can't be looking all that great right now. I think thats why they didn't commit him to anything yet after PA on Monday. I think they have to trot his gaunt old tired looking butt out there and then take a poll to see if he scares children (still).
