It is a felony crime to be registered in two states. It is a felony crime to use the internet to aid and abet the commission of crimes.

So someone who moves and neglects to cancel the old registration is a felon, even if they never again vote in the former state?

The basis of all law is "motive." Calculatedly living and voting in two states is a crime........not moving and forgetting to cancel voter registration.
