Village Voice running an expose of Kerry directing the destruction of voluminous files on hundreds of American POW's left in Vietnam - done while he headed an investigation of such in the early 90's, during an attempt to "normalize" realtions with the NV.

Their date is Feb 2004, so yes, it's earlier than either of the others linked here, which are May and Aug 2004.
The real scandal of that committee, that shredding is out but noone picked it up. And that is that when relations were "normalized", John Kerry's first cousin, a Forbes I do believe, got a huge amount of money by being I think the exclusive agent for either the docks or for real estate in VN. He made a mint, the VN gave him that concession. Now tell me why noone cares about that.
