We just got a tip......that a major newspaper will break a front-page story Monday morning that could create a serious problem for the Kerry campaign. We don't yet have any details, but it relates to a foreign policy issue, and it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness.
We'll watch for the story Sunday night and post it as soon as it becomes available.

I don't think I will sound too paranoid if I mention that the MSM has made an overt, concerted effort to keep any negative stories about Kerry off of their front pages or on their Evening newcasts. Everyone in the media with the exception of a few have totally trashed the SBVTs and the POWS and they are "decorated veterans" - if they will trash them, there isn't much else they wouldn't do to facilitate Kerry's election. Am I wrong?

I think Red State or INDC journal has said that it will be in the Washington Times. Drudge will most likely break this Sunday night.

Yeah but they are the far lefties. Alot of Kerry voters aren't that far left. Just misinformed. This is why I hate early voting, though. You don't really have all the information until voting day.

It is called *burrowing*: outgoing presidents can make political appointees into civil servants if the transition is going to include a party change. Then, the burrowers, who are at minimum middle managers, hire more of the same, who are then also civil servants.
IMO, we can't do anything about it and neither could W.
While every administration does this and it was done under Reagan, as well, I read in *American Evita* that Hillary's 36,000 FBI files were mostly on people from the Bush41 and Reagan administrations. That means the research reached down pretty far. I suppose one has to look at the high and zero-profile government workers who resigned under Clinton to get an idea of how many of ours were gotten rid of and then look at the same in the past 4 years to see what we managed to get rid of. Easier to look at theirs, since if anyone over department manager level resigns under an R administration, it is used as a weapon against the administration and the one resigning is portrayed as having had their principles (LOL) violated.
The person spamming me w/*inside info* is relying on low level employees w/tenure from little-known or discussed departments at State: there is a department that is in charge of the properties owned by foreign governments, for example and probably others I have no clue about.
Since I am not answering this individual, they are becoming rather desperate and I keep hoping they will have something at some point that is of real value. So far, that hasn't been the case, IMO. It has all seemed like contrived leaks, to me.

It's the Washington Times. No matter what it is, it will get no play. Fuhgeddaboutit. This means nothing.

Might be a story about JK's lies about how Bush let OBL slip away in Tora Bora. Every time he accused Bush, the Prez remained silent. Wonder why?

His record as a free-spending, Big Stupid Government liberal is pitiful, and zero commitments have been extracted from him to mend his ways. So if he slides back into his job, I expect more of the same. Which sucks, bigtime.
You tell it like it is. That's refreshing. Thanks!

At this point, you're far from wrong. I couldn't agree more, and I've never seen anything like it in my life. Was it the same during the 2000 election? We were overseas.

It should be about Kerry's Dishonorable DischargeIt may have been a general discharge.......

If Hillary was getting a little nervous it could be the NY Times. One of the Boston papers (I always get the Globe and Hearld Confused) has a history of not liking Kerry it may have been one of them.

On "Why wait until Monday?"
Perhaps to conter the MSM hysteria over Slick rising from his sickbed to campaign for Kerry.

"It should be about Kerry's Dishonorable Discharge and how Peanut Carter had it upgraded for him and approved his phony medals to be re-issued."
- I would rank this as the number one possibility except where's the rumored foreign affairs implications to this story?
To: freespirited
Just a wild guess of course. The National Inquirer?
