We just got a tip......that a major newspaper will break a front-page story Monday morning that could create a serious problem for the Kerry campaign. We don't yet have any details, but it relates to a foreign policy issue, and it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness.
We'll watch for the story Sunday night and post it as soon as it becomes available.

Drudge is the news breaker. If it will be in a newspaper, Drudge will run it first.Thats true, if its a big one, that source will take it to Drudge to break it, for sure.

Other: Ronald Reagan succumbs to long illness. Our first winner is Erin R., of [a town in] Massachusetts.
A nuke in the UN, supposedly made by Syrians. 1st "there's a major attack against freedom and the civilized world" 2nd No more UN to bother USA. If bush's polls are up, he may win 2. if polls are down, martial law is enforced and elections postponed.
"Ohio will be this year's Florida. Late night November 2, News puppets will announce that Bush won Ohio by a substantial majority, leading Ohio residents and DNC bean-counters to cry foul. Protests will spring up in major Ohio cities demanding a vote recount, only to be told by Diebold that the individual votes are either uncountable or mysteriously lost. The Supreme Court (either state or federal) will refuse to allow Buckeyes to vote again. Bush will win the election again, thanks to Ohio's electoral votes. Lastly, I'll be thinking very hard about moving to Canada."
"The October Surprise will occur on 9/11. The Surprise will be the blowing up of a major dam, which will cause massive damage to all the communities downstream. The explosion will be blamed on 'internal eco-terrorists'. The reason being that if the attack were done by an external threat, Bush could face blowback because he failed to protect us. Ultimately, it will be shown that the eco-terrorists have some connection to foreign terrorists. The election will be postponed under martial law while liberals, environmentalists, and other progressives will be rounded up and jailed without regard to Miranda or habeus corpus."
"Cheney has a heart attack and is rushed to an 'undisclosed location.' A new 'winning' vice presidential candidate is quickly selected."
"Gasoline prices drop substantially."
"Surely the real surprise is that nothing happens & there is a proper free & fair election in November, with proper paper-trails, hand-counted ballots & people not being barred due to them having "similar" names to those who are barred..."
"A suitcase 'dirty bomb', planted somewhere in Midwest by US or Israeli assets ... will lead to 'Martial Law', 'postponement' of the 2004 elections, reactionary 'pre-emptive' air strikes on either Syria or Iran, and the unleashing of the IDF and Mossad against anything Muslim ... leading to the First World War of the 21st century. Let me stop 'cause I'm scaring myself ..."

I think Gertz has had good information but I agree, he doesn't have much MSM cred.
The theory about the MSM going with this to knock Kerry out would be good, because then on Nov. 3rd, they could start campaigning for King and Queen Clinton instead of having to wait a respectful time like a couple of months.

The more I think about this, the more I look at RedState, Powerline, and INDC Journal.....ok, so here's what we know, it involves "foreign policy" and it involves "something Kerry lied about" something that Kerry will have to address and it is something that the bloggers tipped off the Washington Times reporter to.........so that pretty much kills the Syria angle because I seriously doubt the blogs have that much access....I think it involves Israel. I think that Kerry said or did something that was very anti-Israel, something like give a speech where he talked about dividing Jerusalem or something, or called Sharon a "terrorist" etc.....

Ok, people we should stop this guessing, cause we just don't know. But whatever it is I hope it sinks Kerry's boat!

Siouxz, can you at least give us some idea of the venue/source by which he learned this? You don't have to name names, but does he work in major media or upper level politics?
To: Pinetop
" If it's major, maybe the WSJ. Just a wild guess, but could it be that charitable donations from Teresa and John actually are funneled to organizations with ties to terrorism?"
- Actually, as guesses go, that's not bad at all. It meets all the criteria in the rather vaguely worded alert, and I had read some time back that Mama T's foundation had fed money to groups which sponsored other groups which had terrorist links. Kerry's forays into international politics have been rare so the only two examples which come to mind are the Paris trips to confer with his Viet Cong handlers and his trip to Nicaragua to see his political hero Ortega.
To: watsonfellow
Kerry's already been caught in a thousand contradictions and lies. I'm not holding my breath that this one will be any different.

Exactly, Freespirit. It is almost as if Kerry's supporters would be happy if Kerry's head spun around and he puked green...In fact, voting for someone evil would "show those ignorant, backward conservatives" just how mad the "normal" Americans are...
Gag me.

two outcomes: either nothing at all will be revealed, or it will be so tiny it will be forgotten by the next tday.

Kerrys people have been negotiating with Syria for quiet some time now.
I think this is Kerrys October surprise to Bush
Ummmm Syria is harboring terrorists .. so if that is true .. then Kerry is making deals with the enemy .. just like he did with Vietnam

Possibility: Kerry had direct contact with other heads of state to undermine our Iraq operation. You know, his discussions with "other foreign leaders who want me to win." This is what popped in to my head also.

I have been wondering for a while why they seem so desperate to have everyone vote early. They probably know that something could happen.
Why is the paper in question waiting though? I guess to get the most bang for the buck because on the weekends there isn't as much attention paid to news.
Gosh, though, I just can't think of one thing that Kerry could have done that would change one of the dem fanatics' minds.
