Video of Lawrence O'Donnell's interview with Swift Boat veteran John O'Neill last night.
(Excerpt) Read more at dailyrecycler.com ...
There is not even one article in any newspaper or publication this a.m. that I could find about the episode!
Fired? MSNBC will probably give O'Donnell a bonus!
It was almost scarier to see him in the following segment, when he was calm and collected. Talk about Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
I clicked on the graphic of the video on the site and had no problem so when you say that you clicked on "File" I don't know what you mean. Try to watch the video by clicking on the image at the site and after it completes do a search on windbag.WMV and when the searcch finds it then you can copy/move it to somewhere on your computer where it will be saved permanently instead of in temporary internet files.
Why didn't Pat cut Lawrence's mic for goodness sake?
O'Donnel makes me sick and I cannot stand to watch him. One of the reasons I switch over from Fox is that I cannot stand Greta and now here is this liberal piece of crap on the Scarborough show. What can I do?
The rest is still un-listen-to-able.
He definetely shook up Frank Luntz. I thought He did his best to put ODonnel in his place. MSNBC should be ashamed, however I do believe this will turn people off & turn them to Bush/ This needs to get out to public somehow. Denco
He's got my vote. What a smart guy, Mr. In-Charge-of-the-Facts.
He had a cameo on the West Wing as the Sheen character's mentally and physically abusive father- obviously he has these tendencies in real life too.
If there was ever any doubt about liberal bias in the media, this episode has completely erased it.
O'Donnell needs to see a shrink..
What do you think is going to be the response to the Bush Landslide? there are thousands of O'Donnell's out there.
Nurse kratchet is going to be busy.
"What can I do?"
There's always sex or lots of great conservative books to read! LOL
Actually he and MSNBC are closet Republicans! Immediately after watching "Liar, Liar," O'Donnell I remembered I had received an email from the Swifties earlier yesterday asking for more money so they could buy ads in PA.
O'Donnell encouraged me to make a third donation to the Swifties. Funny thing, the negativity of people like O'Donnell and the stupid remarks and actions of the Kerrys and Edwards' only encourages me all the more to help defeat them. Hooray for MSNBC and their ilk.
They were sitting next to each other and Pat's mic would still pick up the sound. More importantly, Pat probably felt that O'D showing his ass helped the cause.
Sorry, but I don't have time to do the whole transcript but basically, absolutely every time John O'Neill tried to give details of sKerry's actions in Vietnam this O'Donnell nutcase started shouting, "LIE, THAT'S A LIE!", etc. He kept this up for the entire time that Mr. O'Neill tried to speak.
Maybe shouting is not a good word.....screaming might be a better word.....as if he had really gone into some kind of insane fit.
It was quite straight-forward; here's the transcript:
Lawrence O'Donnell: (Said with increasing vehemence, rapidly, non-stop)-- "Liar! Liar! Liar! Liar! Liar! LIAR!" (picture your 6th grade playground).
John O'Neill: "We actually believe that the Truth is worth pursuing. Are you saying that all 243 of us are liars then? You can either pursue the Truth and have an orderly society or you can just shout the Truth down and have chaos."
L O'D: "LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!" (face gets red and redder).
Moderator: "Lawrence, you simply must give Mr. O'Neill an opportunity to speak."
O'Neill speaks. Lawrence GRIPS his lips together, smiles an off-his-rocker 'smile' and sits there.
hahah, GREAT video. They should use it for Bush's ad.
Very unprofessional of O'Donnell. He might get better recognition on Jerry Springer. What a complete ass.
I just e-mailed Scarborough at joe@msnbc.com and asked him not to have O'Donnell on again.
What a disgusting way to treat a guest!
They should have turned O'Donnell's mic off when he got so out of control and issued O'Neill an apology.
