This newest phenomena in the world of crime is perhaps the most dangerous challenge facing society and law enforcement ever.
While psychopaths are not new, this breed of super criminal exceeds the scope of psychopathic behavior. They are younger, more brutal, and completely unafraid of the law.
While current research on the super predator is scarce, I will attempt to give an indication as to the reasons a child could become just such a monster.
Violent teenage criminals are increasingly vicious. John DiIulio, Professor of Politics and Public Affairs at Princeton University, says that "The difference between the juvenile criminals of the 1950s and those of the 1970s and early 1980s was the difference between the Sharks and the Jets of West Side Story and the Bloods and the Crips.
It is not inconceivable that the demographic surge of the next ten years will bring with it young criminals who make the Bloods and the Crips look tame." (10)
They are what Professor DiIulio and others call urban "super predators"; young people, often from broken homes or so-called dysfunctional families, who commit murder, rape, robbery, kidnapping, and other violent acts. These emotionally damaged young people, often are the products of sexual or physical abuse.
. They live in an aimless and violent present; have no sense of the past and no hope for the future; they commit unspeakably brutal crimes against other people, often to gratify whatever urges or desires drive them at the moment and their utter lack of remorse is shocking.(9)
Studies reveal that the major cause of violent crime is not poverty but family breakdown - specifically, the absence of a father in the household.

Good article in supporting the institute of Marraige,Family and God. IMO with kids coming up today we have not seen anything yet in regard to young psychopaths. As the article states let the left keep it up and we are going to see evil children like never before. I always thought of evil as men who age and become increasingly mentally ill.

This theory has already been put forward been debunked. Back in the early 90's Bill Bennet was warning the American public that a breed of super criminal was going to arise from the ghettos thanks to broken homes and the volitility of the crack epidemic to destroy without mercy. And it turned out the 90's saw a massive decrease in criminal behavior. Not to say there aren't problems with family dysfunction and drug use but this sort of thing is nonsense.

If they want to study Juvenile Psychopaths they should study the entire world of Islam, and what contributes to such mindless hatred, violence, and all around stupidity.
(In my opinion, the vicious treatment and disrespect of women, along with polygamy, sexual mutilation, etc., may be a contributing factor.)
What interested me was kids bieng raised with a combo of being fatherless, no authoritive figure and Godless.
I see more white teens on the local news commiting murder lately.
I think the black community may have already begun addressing these issues.
I am not a parent in a typical sense nor do I have many young friends with kids. Except one who is sending her kids to a charter school and is floored by the young kids flipping her off as she drives her kids to the next town to catch the school bus.
I was also thinking of how society has become as in the "hollywood" left lifestyle.
The article IMO is supporting traditional conservative family values.

Look at the Left in America, homosexual men adopting children, more value on material toys, woman with no self respect and thinking that is libertation of some sort.
The reason FR is so popular is we share a common thread that the left doesn't.
The article was interesting to me because the local news in the past few days teens are commiting violent crimes for no reason, and these are white kids.
While the article might be supporting a worthy cause, namely conservative family values, its foundations are faulty. The much trumpeted "super criminal" bit was proclaimed over a DECADE ago and was found to be false. If DiUlio is interested in promoting family values, he should try a different tack i.e. one that accords with reality.
Well let's hope so, perhaps my monthly estrogen surge is affecting my mental perception.

DiIulio is an interesting source -- because he's the fellow that Dubya tapped to coordinate his "faith based" programs. If he is a kook, then Dubya should get somebody else, pronto.
Beats me if he's a kook but he's certainly wrong. IMHO, he's looking for a govt handout by playing on suburban fears.

Thats not the point of either Dulio's theory or this article. He's arguing then and irrespective of the evidence that showed him to be incorrect now that the Fed govt. needs to do and spend XYZ because there's going to be a wave of super criminals amoungst us soon. And wouldn't you know it - he's got all the answers to avoid said horrors.
I did not take it that way.
The result of a morally void society is a drain on govt. programs.
As in if parents were responsible in doing their jobs with moral values instilled in these kids it would not be spending and draining taxpaying supported programs. Which should IMO be for a hand up not a dependancy on a hand out.
It was stated that govt. services are drained by these unguided children they grow up and become wards of the state. Due to lack of parenting.
If adults would be more personally responsible when family planning in the traditional sense it would be an anchor for kids.
Meaning more young ladies and men need to practice chaste lifestyles or birth control if they are not practicing moral behaviour untill planning their futures of marital commitment and supporting their kids they have in all aspects.

I do see it in our society, but to just focus on the endless notion of "the abomination that is America", ignores the fact that there are far greater problems in the world
