"He was completely evil and Buchanon should have never let him do that."
I agree, O'D made a flaming anus of himself, and made Buchanan look like a stooge. But in fact, I don't think O'Donnell was berserk.
I think he was simply following the 'rat casebook which says never, ever, let the truth be told. He shouted and screamed and lied himself, but he knew what he was doing.
It is the difference between the person who commits a crime of passion, and the cold-blooded psychopathic killer.
Lawrence O'Donnell is the latter. A viciously dishonest and unethical man, he is unfit for exposure on national TV.
The consolation is that John O'Neill looked like a reasonable and sincere person who ended up the injured party, victimized by an apparent lunatic.
Buchanan did finally weigh in on the side of reason and truth, and we got the better of the episode, on balance, by a long shot.
Larry has been getting very disturbed the past few weeks through today on The McLaughlin Group, as well.
Something has cracked with him. He hasn't been that obtuse with his hatred before.
I thought Buchanan was "egging him on" for instructional purposes.
