This is an embarrassment. Especially if you're a Methodist...and I am. I've always been proud to share the same denomination as the President. Unfortumately, their statement is not a surprise to me because people in nat'l leadership positions have been trending left for quite awhile now. How can we let them know they don't speak for us??

I really don't know. I grew up in a houseful of left Dem's. After Sept. 11th and seeing the ilk that has come out of the Dem party and the liberal Jews I know, I don't understand it either.

Maybe thirty pieces of silver from the kerry kooks have greased some palms. As Abe said, better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt. These are just some radicals and does not reflect on all methodists.Bush/Cheney 2004
