Dr. Phil has an extremely popular show, and I'm usually a fan. However, I'm very disappointed that he's planning a show discussing when a woman should have an abortion. Please write the show an email and let him know what you think:
It says "please only write if you want to be on the show". Disregard. They need to know this is unacceptable.

And, there is a good rational argument against abortion: "If a woman wants to get an abortion because she doesn't feel like it, then does that mean I can rape a woman because I feel like it?"
Anyway, I'm sure some of you will disagree with me, but I think I'm being reasonable.

I think not only should abortions be allowed in cases of rape, but the rapist should be emasculated.
That's what I am wondering also. Is he pro-abortion or pro-life? Dr. Phil is tricky. He brings individuals on the show and then he gives them a hard time. I can't see him saying, "Yes, it's okay to kill an unborn child." Maybe, I am wrong, but I don't see it. He is always criticizing people who are selfish, and having an abortion is a selfish and murderous act. If Dr. Phil is all about family, he cannot be pro-abortion. I hope that I am not wrong about this. He show will surely lose ratings if that is the case. Maybe, he just wants to shed light on this issue and break holes in the excuses that these women may give to "justify" their actions.
Dr. Phil is pro-abortion. He is usually fairly conservative in the way he approaches interpersonal relationships, with great stress on individual responsibility and family relationships, but he's plain wrong if he thinks a woman should ever have an abortion. The unborn child should not be punished for the problems of adults. The unborn chid is an equal.

You are being absolutely reasonable, and I fully support your words. There is nothing better in this world than seeing the laughter and joy of a child. The sins of the father should never be held against an innocent child.
I admit, as a work at home mom I get sucked into watching Dr. Phil semi-regularly. I've never noticed a pro-abortion stance. He's also endorsed President Bush for re-election based on 'bringing family values back" I'm not sure how that can co-exist with pro-abortion stances.
However, if you go ahead with your planned show "when a woman should have an abortion" you will be filth to me.

Yeah, that's good ...! Whenever I meet a dude who's pro-abortion I usually figure it's coz he wants to get a lot of tail and dispose of the results. Essentially, that's what 97% of abortions are about. How hard is it to buy a frickin' box of condoms?!
I could agree with a post-natal abortion of the rapist.
Claiming the unborn are equal to the those who have been born, is patently false, and purely an opinion not based on much of fact. One must assume that living tissue in the womb has received the breath of life, as in the Soul of man.
There is absolutely no doubt that which is growing in the womb is living, as my arm is living, but to state categorically that the living tissue is a human being as we know a living breathing human, is to stretch knowledge far beyond what we know.
There is no one I know on the face of this earth that has the knowledge to tell me without any doubt, when a fetus in the womb becomes a human in the sense of "Thou shalt not kill", and in the scriptural sense of receiving a soul. This great mystery, is the deceptive battle attempting to be won by two parties, neither of which has the knowledge to be completely correct.
The pro-lifers think that because tissue is living, that means it is murder to kill it. In the same sense if I lose an arm, it is dead, but certainly not murder as most would have us believe. On the other hand the pro-aborts lean way to far in the other direction, just to spite those who they thing are trying to force their views on them, thus wanting free reign to abort for equally false and deceptive reasons we have all been beaten about the head and shoulders with, that we are tired of the continual tirade.
If the two sides of the battle would both agree that they know very little about the whole issue, return to each state deciding for those residing in their individual states what the law relative to abortion will be, and let the Supreme Court be man enough to strike Roe v Wade down, as should have been done as soon as Roe recanted her lying testimony before said court, we would all be a lot better off and cure much of the rancor associated with this difficult moral issue.
Christians in the name of Christianity, need to stop calling those on the other side murderers, when they do not know that is an absolute truth, and those on the other side, need to exercise a little restraint and realize that choice begins and ends with the decision to have sexual relations, and after that the choice is to accept what those relations created.
Oh I almost forgot, FLAME AWAY.
